OUR PASTOR
Pastor Kirk Carlisle earned his Masters of Divinity degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he also had the privilege of serving as Intern to the President, Dr. Paige Patterson. He is a native of Sumter County, raised in Pinewood, SC. After serving in various churches over the past two decades in North & South Carolina, he has now been pastor of New Calvary Baptist Church since December of 2019. He & His wife, Kelli Carlisle, have two teenage sons, Joey & Nathan. Pastor Kirk was saved at the age of 14 at a Bailey Smith Crusade. Pastor Kirk loves to hunt, fish, golf & spend time with his wife. His favorite movie is, "The Patriot", his favorite book is ,"The Help" & His latest iTunes playlist includes, Steve Green, The Gaither Vocal Band & Hillsong Worship. He also plays Guitar in our Church Praise Team.
